Coffee table, Burl wood veneer & Stainless steel

The KALDER coffee table plays on a contrast between two materials, where the warmth of burl wood interacts with the matt sheen of brushed stainless steel. Its round top with thick edges reveals sinuous grain patterns and dark knots that create a unique design across its entire surface. It rests on a sculptural base comprising two mirror-image half-cylinders. The space between them creates a play of solids and voids, lightening the silhouette whilst emphasising the piece’s graphic character. Kalder is also available as a side table, to be paired with the coffee table to form a nesting set.
